The Lyrid Meteor shower is an annual event that occurs when the Earth passes through a cloud of debris left by the Comet Thatcher. This year, the peak is expected to occur on a Saturday evening, and we will have a chance to witness up to 20 meteors per hour streaking across the night sky.
During the livestream, we will have expert astronomers on hand to provide insights and commentary on the meteor shower. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions and connect with other space enthusiasts from around the world.The event is completely free, and no registration is required.
