I was wond3ering if those who enjoy presenting the objects in the night sky for the public are now going to have to point out specific satellites which shine as brightly as stars? I think some astronomy clubs are still getting calls from those who see the Starlink "train" for the first time (and think they are spotting alien spaceships!).
What do you think about these bright satellites? According to the article, more will be circling the planet soon! Are there ways to avoid photographing these man-made objects while doing astrophotography? Is this something we are just going to have to deal with forever?
