Cosmic Multicultural Bucharest in the Pandemic (134):
Near the Theodor Aman Museum
By Andrei Dorian Gheorghe (astro-photo-poem-essay) and Florin Alexandru Stancu (design)
One October evening on a street in the center of Bucharest
I had to choose between the Cesianu-Racovita Palace (made in the 1890s in Beaux Arts style)
and the Theodor Aman Museum.
I chose the second building, which I photographed on October 11, 2020.
Theodor Aman (1831-1891) was a complex artist, the first modern Romanian painter and creator of the first Romanian schools of beautiful arts.
In 1860s he made a palace according to his own concept, which became a museum in 1908.
An art building almost as beautiful as
Venus receiving the morning shock
and almost as serious as…
Sirius above a tree, near a block.
