Cosmic Multicultural Bucharest in the Pandemic (197):
Heavenly Bodies above the Palace of Justice
By Andrei Dorian Gheorghe (astro-photo-poem-essay) and Florin Alexandru Stancu (design)
The Palace of Justice in Bucharest was created by a French architect, Albert Ballu, and the founder of the Neo-Romanian style, Ion Mincu, in the 1890s, and includes several allegorical statues sculpted by the Storck brothers and others.
In October 2000
I tried to photograph this magnificent building
under several celestial bodies in the solar system:
Mars…
Venus…
the Sun…
…and the Moon in the fight
against light pollution
(an annoying contribution!)
