By Andrei Dorian Gheorghe (text and photos), Adrian Sima (astropoem) and Florin Alexandru Stancu (design)

Teacher (of physics and mathematics) and priest, Adrian Sima returned to our little project dedicated to Global Astronomy Month 2022, Bucharest Astropoetry Tour, with a new astropoem, which I decorated with pictures I took on April 21, 2022.

“Space is curved around massive bodies!” -
said the old man, hiding among the stars,
like a child behind the blossoming cherries...

“the stars are like nuts from which
planetary birds with non-Euclidean trajectories
emerge...”

“comets -
butterflies with wings raised inside...”

“and black holes are like seeds
that enclose the core of things
whence life draws its light to itself
like a bride barefoot through
the dry leaves of history.”
