Celebration of Astronomy Day at Bucharest Astrofest 2022.
A few years ago, a great popularizer of science and former politician, Alexandru Mironov, knew how to knock on some doors in order to open the possibility of the annual Bucharest Astrofest, which began to be organized by his magazine, “Science and Technique”.
The 2022 edition took place in Crangasi Park (chief organizer: Adrian Banuta) and about 10,000 visitors were able to enjoy the telescopes of the Urania Astronomical Association and the Bucharest Astroclub, as well as stands for the presentation of more associations of astronomy and science, educational units, science institutes and publishing houses, among them being the Astronomical Institute of the Romanian Academy.
Later even the Moon appeared, curious,
above Bucharest Astrofest 2022,
without suspecting that in fact
she had become the big attraction
for the evening of the event.
