I crossed the Siret river by train.
A river that today springs from a neighboring country that is the victim of an unjust war.
Then I arrived in the cultural city of Barlad, the former Capital of a medieval country, Terra Berladensis in East Romania, where an avid astronomer, Ciprian Vintdevara, discovered a luminous red nova in 2015.
There I caught the Sun setting over the city center…
and the Moon stopping a little
above the Princely Church
like a golden bird.
