Cosmic Multicultural Bucharest in the Pandemic (292):
About Mincu’s Neo-Romanian Style (2)
By Andrei Dorian Gheorghe (astro-photo-poem-essay) and Florin Alexandru Stancu (design)
November 1, 2020.
I visited the central school for girls, the second major Neo-Romanian creation of Ion Mincu, made in 1890.
Here, among solar-floral symbols, he also engraved the names of great ladies who marked the history of Romania, becoming a fighter for the emancipation of women.
I ended this episode with the planet Venus (photographed on October 20, 2020)
just because I didn't know
a more beautiful symbol
for femininity.
