Cosmic Multicultural Bucharest in the Pandemic (297):
Another Multicultural Walk
By Andrei Dorian Gheorghe (astro-photo-poem-essay) and Florin Alexandru Stancu (design)

November 22. 2020.
Before handing over the baton of light to the Sun, Venus suggested me a new multicultural walk, which I started symbolically with an Indian restaurant with elephants carrying the Sun on their backs.

Then (hunting other astral symbols) I saw more:
-A church in Byzantine style (Iancu Nou, founded in the 1870s).
-The former building of the Union Typography (made in 1919 in French eclectic style, now completed by a modern building).
-The old building selected by German Embassy to house the Cultural Institute named after Johann Wolfgang Goethe (whose “Faust” suggests the human anxious aspiration to infinity).
-A Greek tavern trying to remember the Troy citadel (the subject of the beginning of European poetry and literature, “Iliad”, in which Homer remembered a few constellations).
-A Neo-Romanian building made in the interwar times.
-A famous hotel (“Ambassador”) made in the interwar times in American Art Deco style (when the American astronomer Edwin Hubble brought new proofs for the Big Bang Theory)…

-And the Boteanu Church, made in the 1900s in French Art Nouveau style…
so attractive
that even the Sun and the Moon
became its fans during that day.
