Astromix and SARM Commemorative Expedition 2022 (1)

On the occasion of the autumn equinox, the director of the astronomical culture publishing house Astromix from Cluj-Napoca, Dan Uza, came to Bucharest together with his colleague Marian Niculescu for the largest campaign in his project to commemorate the most important Romanian astronomers through pilgrimages to their graves and other forms of restitution of their memory.
Being the 30th year of the existence of the Romanian Society for Meteors and Astronomy (SARM), as cultural counselor of this national organization I enthusiastically joined their expedition and showed them some of the treasures (with astral symbols) of my city: the Heroes of the Nation monument, the zodiac fountain, the house with the star-mace, steps to heaven, the old mosque near the Sephardic cemetery...
September 23, 2022 was an incredible day,
a kind of opera
where I dared to look at the Sun
(of course, only through my camera!)
