By Andrei Dorian Gheorghe (astro-photo-poetical chronicle) and Florin Alexandru Stancu (design)

After a short rain that left a shy rainbow, Dan-George Uza, Marian Niculescu and I continued with the second stage of our commemorative expedition during the autumnal equinox of 2022.
Our next objective was to find the graves of some great Romanian astronomers in the "cemetery of personalities", Bellu (founded in the 1850s), a veritable museum and even a rival of the famous Montparnasse and Lachaise cemeteries in Paris.

The fact that Dan Uza first found the grave of a professor, Mircea Herovanu, who had written “Journey in the Universe” in 1937, also inspired me to look for astral symbols on the gorgeous funerary monuments.

we can travel through the Universe

but also among the memorials of some high spirits.
