Spiru Haret (1851-1912) was the first Romanian student to present a doctoral thesis on an astronomical topic (about the orbits of the planets) at the famous Sorbonne University in Paris (in 1878).
Later he became the best minister of education in the history of Romania.
By his grave, I thought:
“Dear Spiru Haret,
I know that your name was given to a crater on the Moon
and that is why I will suggest the contemporary ministers
to look for you for consultations
somewhere between the Rainbow…
and the Sun.”
