Cosmic Multicultural Bucharest in the Pandemic (362):
October 2020 - A Superior Peace

An amazing sample of permanent religious peaceful coexistence (despite the conflicts between Western Catholic Christianity and Eastern Orthodox Christianity) can be found in Central Bucharest:
a Catholic church…
and an Orthodox church…
both founded in the 1400s and placed about 50 m from each other.
That Catholic church (remade in the 1840s) is named Baratia, and was protected in its history by Bulgarian priests and aristocrats, Magyar priests, Genoese aristocrats and even by an Austrian Emperor.
I photographed it in picturesque poses under the Sun, the Moon and the Sun again.
Saint George’s Old Church (remade in the 1840s, too) is Orthodox and I photographed it also under the Sun, the Moon and the Sun again.
Then I tried to catch the two churches from a slightly greater distance, under the Moon, and I started with the Catholic one.
The more generous position of the neighboring Orthodox building allowed the presence of an additional representative of celestial peace,
the planet Jupiter,
to enrich this demonstration of earthly peace.
