A Solar Pilgrimage

On February 23, 2022
the Morning Moon illuminated by the sunrise gave me a special feeling,
so that I went to the University Square to greet the statue of Gheorghe Lazar (1779-1823),
the founder of education in the Romanian language in Bucharest
(his achievement later inspired the expression:
"The Sun of the Romanians rises in Bucharest."
by the writer Ioan Slavici).
Only after this experience
did I feel truly worthy
to see the sunset
from my balcony!
