Saint Spiridon’s New Church was created in the 1850s
and is famous for its exterior solar decorations.
That's why I saw it
greeted by
Venus (lower left)…
Saturn and Jupiter (above)…
the Moon and Mars (right)…
the Moon alone (even crowned!)…
the Sun with a tangent arc…
And even from outside the solar system,
the great star Sirius wanted
to give a special greeting
to this wonderful sunny church!
