If music cannot circulate through the void,
it seems something abysmal.
But then why is the Universe
so musical?

Former technical vice-president of SARM and multiple national laureate for astropoetry and astronomical arts, Dan Mitrut delighted the audience at the festival with seven compositions of his own astrofolk music, of which I chose to publish now (unfortunately, I could not do the English translation with rhythm and rhyme) the generous text of his last song:

PRAYER FOR THE PEOPLE

Go up to the Sun, to know who you are,
Go to the Moon, to enchant stories,
Pray to the stars, like to holy flowers
To grow wings, to learn to fly!

Don't waste moments, your life is a gift,
The good road lies in your path,
The shadows of thought are no longer your limit,
The gate from heaven has opened
To the dream.

Don't forget to sing to everyone
My secret,
My longing for earth,
The living fire and love…

Come let's meet where
The man in you and the falling star in me
Comfort the dawn.
I'm the spark of an ideal
And you are the deed that will fulfill it.
We both know that immortality is born
Only in the life that hurts!
We both know there is
Only this moment.
