NEW ASTROPOEMS AT TARGOVISTE ASTRO-FEST 2023 (6)

By Andrei Dorian Gheorghe

ASTROPOEMS OF YOUNG PEOPLE FROM SARM

.

Every conscientious young person

is a hope that tomorrow

another star will appear,

glorious, happy, without fear.

(Andrei Dorian Gheorghe)

..

I also chose (and translated into English) for the AWB blogs three new astropoems written and read at the festival by high school students active in SARM.

.

A STAR

By Stefan Niciev

.

I saw a star

brighter than any.

It represents the eyes

of an astronomer

looking for a sun.

.

A METEOR IN THE NIGHT

By Erik Culescu

.

When the night spreads

its pure wave,

the sky opens in a murmur.

The stars twinkle like little eyes,

seeking to fulfill

our hidden and deep desires.

A shooting star

like a fleeting flash of lightning

crosses infinity,

bringing with her

a benevolent rumour.

What mystery does she hide

in her hot flight?

An old wish?

Or a dream

unknown to the mind?

.

GOOD EVENING

By Ioana Iulia Ilie

.

Everything is so beautiful

at night

when the Moon

comes shyly

into view.

Quietly,

like an aged book,

she rests.
