Hello to everyone,

The Aguascalientes Astronomical Society is located at the center of Mexico, in a priviledged place for sky viewing.

The photos shared here were took in a zone called "Sierra Fría", by one of our members (Luis Sanchez de Alba), showing a beautiful view of the MW galaxy:

Additional to this, we are glade to announce that the construction of the one of biggest observatory sites in Aguascalientes and the region is progressing really good.

The pictures corresponds to the Observatory and Planetary site "Hipatia de Tepezalá", in the town called with the same name "Tepezala".

The 20 inch. Meade Max Mount telescope is ready on the dome:

The planetary dome is also showing a great progress:

The complex will be opened to the public for the first time the next Oct 06th. and we will be sharing more news and photos of this great science complex.

We wish everyone of you clear skies!
