Last February 4 various astronomical organizations and individual members of the local astronomy community conducted free telescope viewing setups in various parts of the Philippines. This was conducted as part of the Philippine Telescope Hour, an annual collaborative public engagement program of the Manila Street Astronomers that encourages cooperation and unity among the local astronomy community. For at least one hour participants are invited to set up their telescopes in their respective locations to give people a chance to appreciate the night sky. This year we give emphasis to pursuing a safe return to astronomy outreach as the local community gradually resume the frequency of public astronomy events which were halted and restricted by the COVID pandemic.
