Beauty Without Borders

Venus, Jupiter, and the Moon before sunrise on April 28 in Japan

04-28-2022 04:25

These photos were taken at 4:47 and 4:49 on April 28 JST (at 19:47 and 19:49 on April 27 UTC).
Though the sky was not clear, I managed to capture Venus, Jupiter, and the Moon in the same frame, only once (1st image).
Venus is a bright star in the upper right from the center. Jupiter is visible in a gap of the clouds at the lower left of Venus. The thin Moon is barely visible in the lower left from the center, blurred due to thin clouds.

In the 2nd image, Jupiter is hidden by the clouds, but the Moon looks clearer.
