Seeking Peace

No peace in the press.
No peace in the news.
Financial disruption
Is causing the “blues.”
.
Wars on the horizon,
anger and death prevail.
People are crazy,
outrage rises as we continue to flail.
.
Political madness,
unnecessary fights!
Frustration and chaos!
Sleepless nights!
.
We still have one constant,
something unchanged
and peace can be found there,
without feeling too deranged.
.
Look up at the stars
which still glow in night skies.
Find salvation in the beauty
without thought of demise.
.
Let the wonder of the moment
fill your body with a sense of relief
as the views of the midnight sky
wash away your grief.
.
There is always tomorrow
to deal with world madness once more.
The sky has not changed.
An endless starfield to explore.
