Some Astral Symbols

I photographed some astral symbols on some representative buildings in Neo-Romanian style (invented in the end of the 19th century): a twisted rope (in fact, a copy of Constantin Brancusi’s masterpiece, “The Infinite Column”, which was inspired by this Romanian traditional symbol), three variants of stars (including a solar royal mace), a stylized sun…
I was so focused on my work that,
for a few moments,
I thought even the Sun himself was
a creation of that architectural style!
