Cosmic Multicultural Bucharest in the Pandemic (40):
Other Stars of Magi
By Andrei Dorian Gheorghe (astro-photo-poem-essay) and Florin Alexandru Stancu (design)
On the morning of November 26, 2021
I saw the Moon’s brightness covering the constellation Leo (only the star Regulus hardly remaining visible down on the left, close to the satellite), followed later by a thin solar halo.
Then the sky became cloudy, but I tried a little consolation going later to the University Square to see the star of the first Christmas fair, which was opened even that day.
I found not one, but two Christmas stars: one with long “rays” in the middle of the boulevard and one in the fair, on top of a Christmas tree surrounded by many enthusiastic people.
Now looking at the pictures I took that evening, I gladly feel the urge to wish everyone well: Happy Holidays, a better 2022 year and…
Don’t forget: the
Winter Holidays begin with
the Winter Solstice!
