Cosmic Multicultural Bucharest in the Pandemic (141):
An Evening on a Sacred Hill
By Andrei Dorian Gheorghe (astro-photo-poem-essay) and Florin Alexandru Stancu (design)
November 24, 2021.
I walked on the hill of the Romanian Orthodox Patriarchate (“Mitropoly Hill”) - where the Romanians decided their state independence and territorial unions many years ago - to catch a few stars, but Vega was very shy.
Then I surrounded the church (built in 1650), admired the solar cross with its winged moon and caught Jupiter reasonably.
So I moved to Brancoveanu’s bell tower (built in 1690).
Jupiter - always ready
to adorn every
high sacred symbol
