Cosmic Multicultural Bucharest in the Pandemic (155):
Near the Bosianu’s House

February 9, 2022.
Right next to the building of the astronomical observatory of the Romanian Academy (completed in 1912), the goddess Urania led me to Bosianu's house (completed in the 1850s),
a palace with a tower like a six-pointed star -
the former headquarters of the Meteorological Observatory (between 1884-1908), of the Astronomical Observatory (in 1908-1912), of the Romanian National Astronomical Committee (in the 1930s), and the current headquarters of the Library of the Astronomical Institute (since the 1990s).
Then I walked past other astronomical buildings: the Sun House, the Sun Dome, the old Meridian Hall…
Finally, I returned to Bosianu’s House to see the Sun over its tower,
a possible star with six corners.
