Cosmic Multicultural Bucharest in the Pandemic (161):
A Haloed Friendship
By Andrei Dorian Gheorghe (astro-photo-poem-essay) and Florin Alexandru Stancu
On December 22, 2021
I saw in the sky the sketch of a solar halo.
Then I looked at the birds on the river.
Near the arch of the new bridge,
the halo was not visible.
Finally, I visited the school where my old friend Dan Mitrut (former vice-president of SARM, astronomy educator, meteor observer, astrophotographer, founder of astrofolk music in Romania, multiple national laureate for astropoetry and astronomical arts etc.) is a teacher.
On one wall I noticed Einstein's formula in an astroart work by a young student.
Then we saw a real solar halo
as a stamp of our friendship.
