Cosmic Multicultural Bucharest in the Pandemic (195):
Planets at the Delea Veche Church
By Andrei Dorian Gheorghe (astro-photo-poem-essay) and Florin Alexandru Stancu (design)

On October 4, 2021
I photographed Jupiter and Saturn in the black sky at Runcu Stone.
And I remembered a church in Bucharest, Delea Veche (founded in the 15th century and remade in the 18th century), with a newer painting depicting the Creator among the planets.
So I visited that church on November 25, 2021, after seeing the Morning Moon and two different positions of the Sun (morning and afternoon).

And I admired the newer painting!

I could only catch the real planet Jupiter next to it,
but a bright inscription on a tall building,
Hyperion (“he that walks on high” in Greek mythology),
made me not stop.
And finally I found the planet Venus
in the same neighborhood!

A new heavenly entrance.
Rewarded perseverance!
