AIRA’s Asteroid Day 2022 (2)

Director Dr. Mirel Birlan and his team of professional astronomers from the Astronomical Institute of the Romanian Academy organized a splendid Asteroid Day in 2022.
For this, they created a chain of astronomical friendship and also called amateur astronomers and astronomer museographers (from the Romanian Society for Meteors and Astronomy-SARM, the Bucharest Astroclub, the Admiral Vasile Urseanu Municipal Observatory, the Urania Astronomical Association, Science and Technique magazine, the Institute of Space Sciences, the Apprentice Astronomer Association, the Brasov Planetarium) as volunteers for the first time.
They enjoyed astronomy together with the visiting public from morning to evening, among the beautiful old buildings of the national astronomical park (the main body of the observatory, the Sun house, the Bosianu house...)
And along with these,
the Sun seemed to be a
reporting space rover...
