Cosmic Multicultural Bucharest in the Pandemic (420)
In Rainy Weather
By Andrei Dorian Gheorghe (astro-photo-poem-essay) and Florin Alexandru Stancu (design)
In December 8, 2022, in rainy weather, I went to my old friend Boris Marian (81 years old) to give him my book, "An Epopee of the Romanian sky", as an award from SARM for his entire activity in astropoetry.
He waited for me with a new astropoem, which, betraying the original, I translated below without rhythm and with too little rhyme:
To New Times
By Boris Marian (Mehr)
Astropoetry calls me close to the solstice,
the beginning of winter.
Why is the sky high and sad?
I would dance the twist on Venus,
but we use altered menus.
The world is changing,
today we decide taxes for the Sun
and prepare others for asteroids.
When is the turn of the stars?
When will we get rid of the troubles?
We forget about our rank
because we are a gang
born just from the Big Bang.
