In August 2017, SARM organized a large expedition in the USA, from the east coast (New York) to the west coast (Los Angeles and San Francisco). Between these, the participants observed a total solar eclipse in Rexburg.
I wasn't on that expedition, but I wrote some haikus for Valentin Grigore's astrophotographs, initially published on the old AWB website.
