AN ASTROPOETIC DIALOGUE WITH ION(UT) MORARU

My guest for the next dialogue is an important member of the SARM astropoetry movement since 1999.
WITH THE LIGHT ON
By Ion(ut) Moraru
I'm in the country and all the light around me
has gone out.
I'm looking at the black sky,
lying on the field, face up.
Thousands of small suns are blinking at me
in the dark.
They seem to be sending me messages
as if through a Morse code.
I also see satellites, they unite constellations
and have a different sparkle, an artificial one.
But the light of the house comes back on,
my squinted eyes hurt,
the local people want to resume their activities,
they want to wash, eat, talk a little more.
What a trifle, to look up, what a strangeness!
A FINDING
By Andrei Dorian Gheorghe
Global Astronomy Month
taught me again, in 2024,
that it is important to know
as much astronomy as possible,
but even more important is to do
as much as possible for astronomy!
