STELLAR HEALTH

On November 12, 2024 (a real winter day in Bucharest) I participated in the last meeting of the year of the cultural circle led by mathematics teacher and astropoet Zigmund Tauberg (and his daughter, physician Liana Tauberg), which included poetry recitals, cultural memories, prose recitals, a mini-recital of French chansonettes, moments of astronomy and astropoetry.
I first read the wonderful astropoem “No Politics for Stars” by Andee Sherwood, which I had translated into Romanian with rhythm and rhyme, and which was very much appreciated.
Then I gave two lectures, one on asteroids and one on novae, supplementing them with some of my astropoems previously published on the AWB website.
Finally, I read my last astropoem, which I had composed on the way to the event, under a cold rain.

-It's not healthy
to become a nova! -
said one star to another star.
This would mean that you
neglect your silhouette!
