A NEW ASTROPOETIC DIALOGUE WITH ION(UT) MORARU

For the following dialogue I called again a pillar of SARM's astropoetry movement.

MY BIG BANG

By Ion(ut) Moraru

.

Is it a beautiful dream or a nightmare

when I think of the Big Bang?

.

I see all the people on the planet

crowded in a hot thread of dust,

then the inflation phase swells everything,

we are millions, billions,

everything cools down,

galaxies appear as continents,

stars appear as countries,

here is my present when

I can see through the telescope

this wonderful landscape,

except that the supernovas, a kind of red flags,

want to show me that I'm getting fatter

as well as those next to me,

and the Earth seems to be expanding,

more and more I am exhausted,

my fingers are moving away from each other,

then the tissues, organs, cells, atoms

and electrons are lengthening,

the dark energy is the one that sweeps everything

and I think about the future

when the molecules of my body

will move towards former galaxies...

.

But I wake up from the dream,

I see the TV set in its place,

and the Sun whispers to me,

“Stay calm, I'll watch over you

for another five billion years!”

The Big Bang spirit

is in every new beginning…

in our lives!

This piece beautifully captures the cosmic dance of creation, evolution, and eventual dispersal, weaving together the personal and the universal. The imagery of the Big Bang as both a beginning and a journey reflects the fragility and vastness of existence. It's a thought-provoking blend of awe and existential reflection, where science meets poetry to remind us of our fleeting, yet connected, place in the cosmos. Truly, a dream painted in stardust.
