PRAISE FOR CONSTANTIN BRANCUSI
By Andrei Dorian Gheorghe
.
.
Nicknamed “the patriarch of modern sculpture”, Constantin Brancusi (1876, Romania - 1957, France) created in the 1930s a fascinating sculptural ensemble in the Romanian city of Targu Jiu, called “The Way of Heroes” and culminating in the Infinite Column.
In 2024 I published a bilingual astropoetic story (English-Romanian), “Looking for Celestial Bodies on the Way of Heroes - Homage to Constantin Brancusi”, as a mini-album based on eight works of astro-haiga (haiku and photo) that I had posted in 2019 on the website of Astronomers Without Borders.
You can get this new book of mine by contacting the astronomical culture publishing house Astromix from Cluj-Napoca, led by Dan-George Uza (www.astromix.ro and info@astromix.ro).

CLIMBING THE INFINITE COLUMN
.
Sometimes brilliant artists
can inspire sky lovers.
.
Thus, climbing the Infinite Column
of Constantin Brancusi
really helped me
reach, joyfully,
JADES-GS-z14-0,
the most distant galaxy!
