watched gods, heroes and kings
rowing in the sky
like galley slaves

PHAETON

Asteroid Phaethon over the constellation Gemini
Shows us a unique shower of multicolored lights,
And in the cosmic infinity, objects of rock and metals,
Wonderful stripes advance in splashes of time.

Multicolored lights, objects vibrate in the sky,
With tears in holy prayer, galactic monks
Sanctify the Galaxy that stands guard
Where the Argo Navis lost its end.

IN A PORCH OF HEAVEN

The children brought their bishops
to a village porch to show them the stars
and place them in constellations.

A telescope, a camera, pair of eyes,
hearts fluttering distant
orbits in songs of crickets and calls of deer -
all at a sitting with the elders weaving the light
in new silk fabrics and clothes. ...
.
because in the middle of the day,
on the asphalt streets,
through the dense squares of the city,
to carry the starry sky on them
for those who slept.

A MORAL FOR GEMINIDS 2025

The real meteor observer
don't put an “all sky” camera on the roof
to then quietly wait for the results at home,
in the heat,
but he dresses in the clothes of the night
and faces even the cold of winter,
always embarking on a new hunt
of travelling and shooting stars.
