A spontaneous and transient international headquarters
for observing the eclipse.
So many people, so much excitement!
I even saw two cowboys who had come
to guard the phenomenon!
And I photographed through my Cannon
the partial eclipse growing rapidly,
caught by a Sonny attached to a telescope
and yearning for totality,
the supreme rank.
