The Star of Bethlehem or David?

As you would be aware, a statement
In the Bible (Num 24),which Daniel would have
Taught to the Magi would have suggested to the Magi
That a king would be born. The prediction
Was made far in advance of the actual
Event. The notion of Jacob’s Ladder had
Already been articulated earlier and
The idea of a seven rung ladder existed
With many interpretations. Some would later suggest
That the rungs represented 7 Christian virtues,
But one notion which took many forms persisted
For a very long time and the Magi were familiar
With it. It was the idea that the rungs represented 7 planets!
It also took the form of a heptagram star image and the idea
That it represented the 7 planets. This object would
Later become hexagram in more modern times, The Star of David.
Then, would have consisted of the 5 visible planets, the moon and sun!
Not knowing when or where the Star event would
Occur other than from a prophecy of when, the
Magi had to watch the heavens for a sign. As
Any astronomer can tell you, most activity recorded
At the time had to due with the 7 planets. With
That as a backdrop the obvious Star to watch
For was the Star of what would later become
Known as the Star of David. As it turned out, the
Event was labeled the Star of Bethlehem as that
Was the place where the Magi found the future
King!
