A Glowing Eye
.
.
Aquila Constellation is the zone
where NGC six seven five one lies,
a planetary nebula that’s known
as Glowing Eye, a name that satisfies
the imagery and tantalizes too
with fantasy of stellar eye that sees
into the frantic antics we pursue,
perhaps with premonitional unease.
The hottest gas aglow is brilliant blue
that’s ringed around the central remnant heart
with marks of much sidereal ado
and hints of virtuoso astral art.
Could there be seeing eye that watches all
within the vastness of the cosmic sprawl?

Explanation and info ~ Astronomers using NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope have obtained images of the strikingly unusual planetary nebula, NGC 6751. Glowing in the constellation Aquila like a giant eye, the nebula is a cloud of gas ejected several thousand years ago from the hot star visible in its center.
