So Many Moons
..
.
.So many moons dance Saturn ‘round
not counting others that abound
within the rings to planet wed,
one hundred forty-six it’s said,
as if with skirts of raiment gowned.
.
Might we hear strains of choral sound
by stellar melodist renowned
whose airs encompass overhead
so many moons?
.
The grand ballet about us wound
shall ever reveries astound
ensembled where skygazers tread
with artists all from stardust bred
in whilom long agos profound
so many moons.
