Last thursday, Joseph Marteleur passed away.
Since 2006, he had led the french speaking federation of amateur astronomers from Belgium (FFAAB). He left it last year because of health. He was its founder and over the years, we followed reunions, projects, astronomy lessons, trips under his leading. The most important thing, though, was that he made it possible hundreds of professionnal and amateur astronomers to know each other and always keep in touch. He was known in France too. His baby, the FFAAB, is now under good hands.
