I was part of a group visiting Chile in march 2016 (we visited the big observatories) and we stopped for several days at San Pedro de Atacama. From our lodge, we could see the Milky Way as never before (clearest sky and southern hemisphere). This was taken with my Canon 100D and Samyang fisheye 8 mm lens.
