The Romanian Society for Meteors and Astronomy (Societatea Astronomica Romana de Meteori - SARM) organized the Global Star Party 2022 event, part of Global Astronomy Month 2022.
A public event observing Moon and other celestial bodies by telescope organized in the main square of Targoviste City, Romania.

Thank you, Joe!
We were lucky. As soon as our action was over, close to midnight, the sky become cloudy and then it started to rain in the morning.
In order to have a good chance of clear skies, I proposed that the Global Star Party not be allocated a single day, but a day from a weekend period. This way, the chances increase that the sky to be clear at least once in the 3 days. Same with SunDay.
