Get ready for a beautiful encounter between the planets Mars and Saturn in our early morning skies on April 4 and 5. Join SpaceX astronaut and AWB Board Member Dr. Sian Proctor and AWB's Communications Manager and The Night Sky Guy, Andrew Fazekas, for an livestream preview of this planetary conjunction. They will be discussing how best to observe it, and also using it as a practice run for the main encounter event later in the month on April 27 when the crescent Moon will join the brightest planets in the sky, Venus and Jupiter. We invite you to join our Beauty Without Border Photo Campaign and snap your own shot of this eye-catching conjunction and share it with the world through our photo library. Learn more here.
