Cosmic Multicultural Bucharest in the Pandemic (8):
From David to Einstein
By Andrei Dorian Gheorghe (astro-photo-poem-essay) and Florin Alexandru Stancu (design)

In October 2020 I did a tour of the four beautiful synagogues that have remained in Bucharest from the 19th century (Royal Romania hosted before World War II, among many other communities that lived in harmony, a strong and very active Jewish community).
I had in my mind the tumultuous times in Jewish history from King David (a predecessor of astronomical poetry through verses he wrote in his “Psalms”, in which he connected the stars to God’s glory) and Albert Einstein (creator of the revolutionary theory of relativity).
All those buildings include on their facades two magnificent symbols: the mysterious six-pointed star of King David and the Bible's Ten Commandments (a major moral code of humanity).

To honor all the great Jewish astronomers
I took a picture with the planet Venus
(on October 15, 2020),
which could be
even the Star of David
and part of Einstein’s theory.
