Cosmic Multicultural Bucharest in the Pandemic (269):
GAM 2022 - Astropoetry Tour with Luminita Tudor
By Andrei Dorian Gheorghe (text and photos), Luminita Tudor (astropoem) and Florin Alexandru Stancu (design)
I usually visit my niece Luminita (“Little Light” in Romanian) every few weeks to have lunch together because she cooks great.
I recently wrote to her that I am grateful for this, and she sent me the following message:
“With the greatest love for my uncle, the astropoet who visits me especially, coming from the Cheese Moon and leaving, in those moments, the stars alone like a cluster of hamsters.”
On April 24, 2022 I walked with her in Mihai Eminescu Park and she gave me an astropoem for the Bucharest Astropoetry Tour.
I used pictures for her astropoem that I took the same day, and as the "little star" I chose Alhena from the constellation of Gemini.
LITTLE LIGHT
(In Memory of Stefan “Nelu” Tudor)
Astropoem by Luminita Tudor
Photo-scenario by Andrei Dorian Gheorghe
My name is Luminita
the “Little Light”.
When I was a child,
I asked my father:
“Why did you call me that?”
And he answered me
with eyes bright as two stars in the sky
and a small smile:
“Because you are the light of my eyes!”
Then I realized that I am like a star too,
a little light from the starry sky
through my father's eyes.
