Initially a geography teacher, Ciprian Vintdevara became the favorite astronomy student of the coordinator of the Astronomical Complex in Galati, Jan Ovidiu Tercu.
In 2010 he also became the coordinator of the Astronomical Complex in Barlad and of the Perseus Astroclub.
Since 2012 he organizes the annual Astronomy Symposium in Barlad and edits Perseus magazine.
An exceptional example of passion, he discovered a luminous red nova in 2015 and a variable star in 2020.
At the 2022 symposium I liked to see Ciprian Vintdevara presenting his work on variable stars, assisted by his former teacher, Mr. Tercu, and by his current favorite disciple, a student from the Perses Astroclub.
I also liked to see the impressive work of astroart of Ciprian, with which he decorated that room in the Vasile Parvan Museum.
