Cosmic Multicultural Bucharest in the Pandemic (342):
Astromix and SARM Commemorative Expedition 2022 (22)
By Andrei Dorian Gheorghe (astro-photo-poetical chronicle) and Florin Alexandru Stancu (design)
Dan-George Uza, Marian Niculescu and I were kindly received by the local astronomers Adrian Bruno Sonka and Mihai Dascalu, who showed us the telescopes for the general public of the observatory that symbolizes the temple of amateur astronomy in Romania.
“Would you like to stay and see the planet Saturn through the telescope?” - the coordinator of the Admiral Vasile Urseanu Bucharest Municipal Observatory, Adrian Bruno Sonka, asked me.
“We are sorry - I replied -, we planned a festive dinner in memory of the great Romanian astronomers.
Then I will go to a park and remember the Admiral:
I will see
the blue star Vega with the naked eye
as from an island in the sea.”
