The Great Return

They say it was massive, a tremendous comet it was!
But now it is so small, almost like a bee with a buzz.
Comet Encke, yes that’s what all the noise is about.
It will return around July 2030. That’s something to
Shout about. It’s part of the Taurid Meteor streams.
But the stream is so huge. Yes, something larger
Than Encke is at its root. Studies show that
Multiple other comets and asteroids have shared its
Path. The earth crosses that stream twice yearly,
It does pass. Some speculate that the stream is the
Source of the Tunguska Event. There may be
Future events which will be heaven sent! This is
The season of the Taurids, so say a prayer for us.
As I look at the sky tonight, I hope all the streaking
Lights will just be caused by dust!
