The More We Know
While novel revelations come and go,
discoveries that shed uncharted light,
the more we know the more there is to know.
We seek to see into the heavens’ show
with telescopes that stretch our earthly sight
while novel revelations come and go
plus suppositions pertinent although
while seeming sapience to overwrite
the more we know the more there is to know.
Discoveries bring queries apropos,
some theories rejected reignite,
while novel revelations come and go.
Sagacity in science may outgrow
existing thought amongst the erudite.
The more we know the more there is to know.
How can we humans fathom cosmic flow?
Infinity evades our senses’ flight.
While novel revelations come and go,
the more we know the more there is to know.
