I will be hosting a small event on April 8, 2024 for the Total Solar Eclipse viewing in London, Arkansas, USA. There will be 19 campers and a few local residence making a possible 50 person turnout including adults and children. We are hosting some campers for few days between April 6 thru the 12th. I am setting up my commercial event tent with three telescopes for viewing the night skies during that week occasionally or as the season allows. I will be handing out free certificates downloadable from the Astronomical League web site to local participants to show they witnessed the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse in London Arkansas, USA. Since I am an Astronomer and represent both the Astronomical League and Astronomers Without Borders as a member, I will be signing the certificates and presenting them to whomever wants one for a momento. I plan on taking a few extra copies to town with me to a local tavern for dinner, and sign them for anyone who wants a momento of the event. Clear skies until my next report!
